Hi Sharon!
Welcome to planDisney!
Transportation at the
Walt Disney World Resort is bountiful and available to all Guests visiting the theme parks and resorts. You can opt to travel to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood studios via
Disney Skyliner, the gondola-type transportation that takes you on a ride in the sky. You can choose to travel to two of the Walt Disney World theme parks, Epcot or Magic Kingdom via
monorail. You can opt for ferry boat transportation from some of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels to the theme parks. The transportation and ticket center also offers a ferry service to the Magic Kingdom. Or you can opt to use the Walt Disney World bus transportation system which will take you from the Disney Resort Collection hotels to the Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs. So, as you can see, there are plenty of ways to get around Walt Disney World.
Sharon, Guests who wish to travel to
Disney Springs have two options to choose from. You can opt to take the bus from your resort to the shopping, dining, and entertainment area, or you can choose to take a water taxi. Water taxi service is available from several Walt Disney World Resort hotels, such as
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and
Riverside, as well as
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and
Disney’s Old Key West Resort. These water taxis are free for Guest usage to arrive and depart from Disney Springs.
I hope this helps you plan a fantastic journey to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
