Can we still get free parking at the parks on the day we check out of our Disney resort?

It's so good to see you here at planDisney, Sarah! You'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort soon, so I hope you have your Mickey tees packed. As someone who squeezes every second of magic from my visits, I'm glad to see you're planning to do the same...even on check-out day.

As a guest of a Disney Resort Hotel, the magic doesn't have to end when you close the door behind you for the last time. I'm happy to let you know that you can absolutely park for free on your departure day at any theme park. I typically have all my reservations and plans in my My Disney Experience account, so I let the main gate attendant scan my MagicBand+. My tip is to have a photo ID ready in case they ask to see it, but you'll be parking your chariot and enjoying the park in a flash.

You can also leave your luggage with Bell Services at your resort while you're at the park, if that's more convenient for your travel plans. And if you decide you'd rather relax by the pool on your final day, you can do that, as well. Most resorts have a changing area near the pool, so you have options!

I notice you arrive shortly after the opening of this year's EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. This is my favorite festival! I hope you get to enjoy all the fabulous artwork and sample some exclusive bites at the Food Studios. The colorful Figment Fantasy Cake at the Odyssey looks too pretty to eat; however, I can take a photo and have my cake, too!

Sarah, thanks again for stopping by planDisney. We're always happy to help. Enjoy your upcoming visit and happy parking!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
