Hi Alicia,
Celebrating a birthday with the Big Cheese is something my family loves to do. But sometimes it doesn’t work out to be at the parks on the actual birthday. No problem! Disneyland Resort is all about celebrating-whether it is for anniversaries, graduations, first visits, birthdays, engagements, marriage! You will not need to provide proof that it is your actual birthday during your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth.
One of the easiest ways to let everyone know that you are celebrating a birthday will be to stop by City Hall and get a free 'It's my Birthday' button to wear during your visit. Cast Members that see you wearing it in the parks will be sure to send birthday wishes throughout the day. (I know I try my best to wish every Guest I see in the parks wearing that button a Happy Birthday!)
During our last visit to the Disneyland Resort, my daughter received a beautiful autographed picture of Anna & Elsa during her
Frozen-inspired makeover at Anna & Elsa’s Boutique. We also let the Cast Members know upon check in at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa that it was her birthday; one evening we came back to Mickey-shaped rice crispy treats in our room.
Be sure to tell your Server if you are dining at a Table Service Restaurant, you never know what pixie dust may be sprinkled your way.
We always believe in the magic, however, none of this pixie dust is guaranteed. It’s this type of unexpected Disney magic that happen during your trip that make visiting Disney Parks the best.
I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please
write me back, I'm here to help you plan your next pixie-dusted vacation.
Wishing you a magical birthday Alicia!
~ Lynette
