Is there free drinking water available in the parks upon request? Or places to refill water bottles?

Hi, Connie! I am so glad you are planning ahead for your family's hydration. Walt Disney World Resort is a huge property, so you will be walking a lot each day of your vacation. It also can get quite warm in Florida; yes, even in January! You will want to stop often for a water break.

My kids get annoyed with me when I constantly remind them to drink more water, so I made it a rule that they had to drink a cup of water every time we take a restroom break. It just so happens that you will find a water fountain in the vicinity of each restroom area, the perfect spot for refilling your water bottles. Please note that glass bottles are prohibited from the parks.

Connie, the most convenient thing about hydration while at the parks I learned several years ago is that you can get a free cup of ice water at all Quick Service dining locations. Just hop in line and ask for a cup ... I actually ask for at least 2 more than the number of people I have with me because they are the small cups. You could also get a few extra cups of water and use those to refill your water bottles.

I hope you have a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you continue to plan your trip.
