    Free dining

    Hi Nathan,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you're having lots of fun dreaming about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and I'm so glad that you stopped by for some advice about finding ways to stretch your Disney dollars!

While there is currently an offer that includes a free dining plan for Mouseketeers ages 3 - 9 for stays in early 2020, it looks like you're planning a visit for next summer. We can never know for sure what special offers Mickey Mouse has up his sleeve, however, I can tell you that in the past few years, there have been free dining offers for select dates late summer through December that were announced either in July or April. In 2019, an additional free dining offer was announced shortly after the new year for July - September stays, and an offer that included one free Quick-service meal per night for summertime stays was announced in April, so it's always possible that something will come out. I'd definitely encourage you to keep your eye on the Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts page as well as the Disney Parks Blog for any news. Even if free dining isn't offered, hopefully there will be some sort of pixie-dusted offer that will make your trip even more magical!

Since I have delicious Disney food on my brain now, did you know that dining reservations may be made 180 days in advance? If you already have your Disney Resort hotel room booked and are hoping to add a discount later, definitely take advantage of an extended booking window where you may make your dining reservations for the entire length of your stay, up to 10 days, 180 days before your check-in date! With so many incredible options, it can be tough to choose, so I'm wishing on a star that you find the perfect reservations for your visit!

Please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip, Nathan, and have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
