    How do you get the free dining?

    Hi Becky,

    SDOn't you just LOVE the idea of something free? Disney World's free dining promotion is a huge draw for many guests and a great deal. I am aware of a couple of ways to obtain free dining for a Disney World vacation.

    The first way is with a pin code or special Disney mailing or email. This occurs when guests receive a postcard, letter or email directly from Disney World with a promotion code. By calling the Disney reservation number supplied on the card and providing the code listed. a guest can often obtain a free dining promotion for their stay during a select period of dates. These mailings and promotions are quite random and there is no known way to be sure you will receive one. A good way to stay on the mailing list though is to be a registered user of the Disney World website.

    The other option is to take advantage of the free dining promotion offered to all guest during a certain time of the year. Typically WDW offers free dining from late August thru September to guests staying on property for a minimum number of nights and purchasing at least a one day park admission. There is no guarantee that this promotion will be offered again this year but it has been extremely popular and is assumed that the promotion will re-appear this fall. In the past years, the promotion was announced at the beginning of April and had to be booked by the middle of June. Packages featuring free dining are usually limited so I would suggest booking yours early if the announcement is made. Check back to www.disneyworld.com often as April approaches as there will be a link for this offer once (and if) it becomes available.
