Hi Autumn!
Thank you for bringing your question to
planDisney. I am happy to help you with your upcoming vacation.
As you know, with the new
Walt Disney World Theme Park Reservation system, each Guest will need valid park admission as well as a theme park reservation to visit the parks. I reviewed the
Theme Park Availability Calendar for April 28 and it appears that some parks area available, but
Disney's Magic Kingdom and
Disney's Hollywood Studios are currently not available.
You have two options:
1. Consider exploring at different Walt Disney World Theme Park on that date. Since there is currently availability at
Epcot and
Disney's Animal Kingdom, consider visiting one of those parks. You will need to cancel all of your existing park reservations and make new ones for each individual in the party.
2. Keep checking back to see if any park availability opens up. Availability is subject to change as Guests cancel or reschedule their reservations. As such, you can keep checking back on the reservations page to see if Magic Kingdom becomes available.
If availability doesn't open up prior to your visitation date, unfortunately your additional family member will be unable to visit that park.
You could also consider visiting
Disney Springs on a day when all of the parks are full. Disney Springs has so many wonderful
dining,
entertainment, and
shopping options that it's easy to make a full day of it! You can dine at
Chicken Guy, shop at The World of Disney, or bowl at
Splitsville Luxury Lanes.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
