I have four people in my group that would like one room, but we do not want to sleep in the same bed. Is there a room that has four different sleeping areas? We do not want a queen bed.

    Ahoy, Donna!

Welcome aboard planDisney! When it comes to stateroom setups, I totally understand wanting to find the practically perfect in every way option for your crew. As my kids get older, I’ve also been looking into larger staterooms, so I know how important it is to find a space where everyone can sail off to dreamland in comfort—without playing a nightly game of musical beds!

Now, let’s get the bibbidi bobbidi boo news out of the way—Disney does not offer the option to split a king bed into two twins like some other cruise lines do. But don’t worry, your happily-ever-after stateroom is still out there!

Your best bet for one room with four separate sleeping spaces is a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom (with or without a verandah) that sleeps up to five guests. This setup includes:
    • A queen bed (the coziest of them all—someone gets to be royalty!)
    • A single convertible sofa
    • A bunk bed (with the top bunk magically dropping down from the ceiling)
    • A single wall pull-down bed

That’s four different sleeping spots! But here’s the catch—one of your crew will score the “enchanted” queen bed, while the others get the smaller (but still comfy) options. If fairness is key, you could always rotate who gets the royal treatment each night! Just be warned—if anyone is tall like me, they might feel like Goofy squeezing into the top bunk!

Now, if equal sleeping arrangements are at the top of your treasure map, I’d highly recommend booking two connecting staterooms instead. This would give your crew:
    • Four beds—the curtain divider will make everyone feel like they have their own space
    • Extra closet and drawer space (because let’s face it, those pirate costumes need room)
    • A second bathroom (trust me, this can be a game-changer!)

Donna, I hope this helps you navigate the best option for your crew! No matter what you choose, your adventure will be filled with smooth sailing, dazzling sunsets, and just the right amount of pixie dust.

Sea ya real soon with love in the air and magic everywhere,
    Dustin
