Ahoy there, Casie!
Welcome aboard planDisney! Can I just say, your vacation plans are straight out of a Disney fairytale—a stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, a 7-night Disney cruise, and then wrapping it up at Disney’s Riviera Resort? That’s some serious happily-ever-after-level planning!
Alright, let’s rip this bandage off faster than Lightning McQueen at the Piston Cup—Walt Disney World Resort
parking is reserved only for current resort Guests. Because parking can be limited, Disney keeps it exclusive for those actively staying at the resort to ensure there’s room for everyone who’s checked in. That means, unfortunately, you won’t be able to leave your car parked there while you set sail.
I know that’s not the "wish upon a star" answer you were hoping for, but I do have a plan that might add a little more magic to your journey! Since you’ll have your own car, have you considered canceling your Disney shuttle and
driving yourself to the port instead? The drive from Walt Disney World to Port Canaveral is a breeze—way easier than navigating the Grid in TRON—and it gives you full control over your embarkation day schedule. No waiting for a bus, no making multiple stops—just you, your crew, and an easy road trip to the ship!
If you decide to take this route, be sure to cancel your Disney ground transfers before your
Online Check-In date so you can snag the earliest Port Arrival Time available. Arriving earlier means more time onboard to explore, grab a delicious embarkation day lunch, and soak in the excitement before setting sail!
No matter how you choose to get to the port, your adventure is going to be filled with unforgettable moments, breathtaking views, and just the right sprinkle of pixie dust! If you have any more questions, just say the word—I’m always happy to lend a helping fin!
May your travels be as wild as a Kilimanjaro Safari, as smooth as a Caribbean breeze, and as magical as a castle at sunset!
Sea ya real soon with love in the air and magic everywhere,
Dustin
