We have four people in our group but we are all covering our own expenses when it comes to food. We plan on dining together. Do you know if your restaurant receipt is itemized so that we can divide the cost after the face?

Hi there, Deborah! Welcome back to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach back out and allowing us to help you plan another visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

Dining at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my family’s personal favorite leisure activities! Since we are all major foodies, we love the wide variety of dining locations across the property that range from grab-and-go quick service all the way to upscale Signature Dining. There truly is something that will fit everyone’s tastes and budget!

I am happy to report that you should have no problem splitting your check whenever you dine at Walt Disney World Resort! Just recently, I had the pleasure of dining with some of my fellow planDisney panelists and we were able to split our check according to our individual order. If you would like, you can always let your server know that you intend on splitting the check at the beginning of the meal or you can tell them after you have finished eating.

If you haven’t already done so, I do highly recommend making advanced dining reservations for your trip! This allows you to reserve a table for the exact number of Guests in your party which can reduce the stress of finding a last-minute meal option. However, if you do need to change your plans, you can also use the Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability feature available on the My Disney Experience app! This handy feature allows you to check availability at participating restaurants and place your name on the walk-up list. Then, once your table is ready, you can simply proceed to the restaurant and enjoy your meal! We used this feature to snag a spot at Liberty Tree Tavern during our recent visit and adored how intuitive the whole process was!

I hope you are able to plan a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
