Welcome aboard, Cailyn! You're sailing out of San Diego on the beautiful
Disney Wonder this fall? Me too! I cannot wait for our cruise with Captain Mickey and his crew. I love sailing anytime with Disney, but am especially excited about this Mexican Riviera sailing since we had such a magical experience the last time we took that itinerary.
Each time we sail, we take advantage of letting Disney do the driving. The offer optional
Ground Transfers in each port of call, so you may certainly add these to your cruise reservation. Just call the agents at Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532. Currently, the cruise transfers from the San Diego airport to the cruise port on the morning of your sailing cost $18 per person, each way, as return transfers are also available, which would be a total of $36 per person round trip. Four all four of you, one way it would cost $72 one way or $144 for all four of you round trip. Normally, I'd suggest using Disney Cruise Line Ground Transfers for sure, and do out of every other port. But, in
San Diego, the cruise port is super close to the airport, so alternately, an Uber, Lyft, or taxi can be great options here too!
It is super nice, though, especially on the way back, to leave the ship, climb right onboard the motorcoach and be magically whisked away to the airport, helping make that last morning a little more bearable as you wave goodbye to the ship and take your memories of the magical adventure home with you!
Have fun planning, Cailyn, and enjoy your cruise!
