Hi Judy!
Welcome to planDisney!
If your park tickets are date-based (meaning that you chose a start date for your ticket when purchasing it), I’m happy to report that you will not need park reservations. You’ll just scan into whichever park you’d like (pending park capacity)! However, if your ticket is not date-based, you can
make park reservations at this link.
If you’re not quite sure, once your park ticket is linked to your My Disney Experience account, I recommend clicking through as if you’re going to make park reservations. That way, you’ll have peace of mind! When going through the prompts, you’ll need to choose the ticket that will be linked to the reservation. If your ticket does not need a reservation, it will be under a separate section that specifies that.
With your trip coming up so soon, don’t forget that if you’d like to purchase
Lightning Lanes for your park day(s), you’ll be able to do so before your trip even gets here! If you’re staying at a
Disney World resort, your Lightning Lane booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your resort check-in date. And if you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket.
You’ll also be there at the perfect time to start seeing the
holiday decorations go up around the parks…and I’m so excited for you! It’s one of my absolute favorite times of the year to be at the parks.
I hope you have the best trip! If you have any other questions, let us know. We’re always happy to help!
