We will have four days in Orlando to explore Disney World. It's just two adults with no kids. What are the must see things to do and how would you divide up your days between parks? What is the best time of year to go considering weather and crowds?

Welcome to planDisney, friend! I'd be happy to help you start planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. All paths lead to Cinderella Castle, so polish your crown and hop in your pumpkin coach for the ride of a lifetime!

As empty nesters, my husband and I often visit the theme parks as a couple, and we thoroughly enjoy exploring all Disney has to offer. We've also visited year-round, so let's start by looking at dates.

One of my favorite times to visit is during the autumn months. Temperatures start to cool down in early November, and the crowds are manageable. Holiday decor typically starts appearing after Halloween, and I love how festive and cozy Disney makes Christmas.

Another bonus of this time of year is you can check out the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival which usually runs until mid-November. My husband and I love trying cuisines from around the world at the Global Marketplaces, and there's complimentary live music on select evenings at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. I saw Boyz II Men there last week!

This leads me to my recommendations for which theme parks you might enjoy. For a four-day visit, I'd suggest one park per day. Sample them all and see what you like to help plan your next visit!

My number one tip is to book a Disney Resort Hotel stay. The ease of Disney Transportation is a fabulous perk, and the amenities are, well, magical. My husband and I recently stayed at the Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and were treated like royalty. The Dahlia Lounge on the 16th floor has spectacular views and delectable drinks.

Now that you've started down the road to the castle, I hope you're getting excited to arrive at the ball. Please stop by planDisney anytime you have questions because it never strikes midnight here!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
