Hey there, hi there, Jodi! Welcome to planDisney! I am so happy you came to visit us!
Walt Disney World tickets are date-based, which means the ticket price varies depending on when the start date is. You can do some fun exploring on the
Walt Disney World ticket website. Simply click on the number of days that you want (you will see that a 4-day ticket starts at $103 per day currently). Then, scroll down and select the ticket type, either base ticket (1 park each day) or park hopper ticket (visit more than one park in a day).
Finally, choose your starting date. Once you do this, you can see park pass availability for that date, and if you scroll down, you’ll see “select the number of tickets”. Choose 1 ticket for ages 3-9, and you will see what the cost will be!
And since you will be traveling with a 5-year-old, I would love to give you some fun recommendations! When my children were that age, no trip was complete without a visit to it’s a small world in Magic Kingdom. And, I would suggest wandering over to Adventureland for a Dole Whip and a visit to the
Enchanted Tiki Room. I remember how delightful the giggles were from both of my kids while the birds serenaded us.
When visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom, don’t miss the gorgeous colors in
Na'vi River Journey. Our family also loves a trek on Kilimanjaro Safaris to hopefully see the Okapi and the lions! A quick stop to cool off with a frozen Coca-Cola at Drinkwallah is also on our list!
As far as Epcot goes, my children have always loved visiting The Land Pavilion. Riding Living with the Land is almost always a new experience, and
Soarin’ Around the World is timeless. All of the fun food booths scattered throughout the theme park are great, since we all like different foods. Everyone can find something delicious to eat!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is perfect if your little likes Star Wars! The immersive land of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge appeals to fans of all ages. And, would they like to pilot the Millennium Falcon? No problem! Visit
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run to do this!
I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Please come back to visit us with other planning questions you may have.
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
