Hi Jim!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'd love to help you find a room that works perfectly for your group!
When you see a listed capacity on a room it is usually that many folks in beds, plus one infant in a Pack 'n' Play, that you can request on your reservation. Therefore, if you'd all like to stay in one room you'll need one that can accommodate 7 Guests. The Walt Disney World Resort hotels that can accommodate a group of your size will be the
Deluxe Villas. Your best option here is going to be a 2 Bedroom Villa. This usually includes a King bed in one room, either 2 Queen beds or a Queen bed plus a pull out in the second room and a pull out in the living room.
If you visit the main page for
DisneyWorld.com at the top bar will be an option to input the number of Guests in your party and the ages of each of the children. You can search the dates you are interested in and when the list populates it will show the Resort hotels that can accommodate your group. At the bottom of the list will show everything else with a note that your
Party Size exceeds the max room capacity.
If you'd like to split into two separate rooms, your options are truly endless and I'd narrow down your search based on your budget. Your options are going to start with the Value Resorts, then the Moderate Resorts and at the top tier will be the Deluxe Resorts. The Deluxe Villas are accommodations at the Deluxe Resorts that can accommodate larger groups.
If you'd like a more specific recommendations based on theming and such, please come back and let us know! We love to help here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
