We have four adult children and would like to bring them to Disney for Christmas with each of their significant others. Having difficulty finding accommodations for 10 adults. We are eligible to stay at shades of green as well.

    Hi Christen!

Welcome to planDisney! The Holidays are truly one of the most magical times of year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. I love that you want to take your adult children and their significant others! You’re never too old to enjoy a trip to Walt Disney World!

There are a few room styles at Walt Disney World that can accommodate a party that large. Typically a 3 Bedroom Villa would be the best choice. While most are booked by Disney Vacation Club Members, they are sometimes available to the general public. However, with Christmas being only a few short months away, it is like they are all booked. The 3 Bedroom Villas generally don’t always show up in the online inventory though, so calling to double-check is worth it.

The next option would be to book multiple rooms for your group. While this can be done online, you cannot book them all on the same reservation, and you’ll need to book and pay for them one at a time. Since you can only see the availability one room at a time, and with Christmas fast approaching, I’d hate for you to book 2 or 3 rooms, then go to book another and find there are no more rooms. Because of this, I highly recommend you call to book, at 407-W-DISNEY.

If the budget allows, I would ask if there were any resorts with suites or villas for that week. Perhaps you could get a suite for yourself, and then standard rooms for the kids. Then make your room the “home base” for the holiday activities such as opening gifts on Christmas morning. For example, I do see Club Level Suites as well as standard rooms available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. I also see some availability for Deluxe Studios, 1 Bedroom, and even 2 Bedroom Villas at Disney’s Riviera Resort!

While you might not be able to find a single suite or villa that sleeps all 10 of you, with a little creativity you can still find plenty of magical resort options for Christmas at the Walt Disney World Resort. Since it is such a popular time, if you are sure you plan to go, I would recommend booking sooner rather than later. As the holiday approaches, availability will be tight.

I hope this helps with your planning, Christen. Please let me know what additional questions you have as your holiday trip approaches!
