I just found this website, and it's fantastic! My wife stays home and takes care of our 2 and 4 year old sons. So, I want to do as much of the planning as I can. We arrive in Disney on October 17th. What is the first day I can make reservations! Thanks

Alright Hal, you officially have the Moms Panel seal of approval as one of the most thoughtful and helpful dads on the planet. You can come plan with us any time!

To answer your question ... for a trip beginning on October 17, 2009, the first day you can make reservations for dining, tours, and recreation at WDW is July 19, 2009. And HUGE NEWS --

Beginning today, guests can now make their meal reservations for WDW online!!!! You can access the reservations system from the individual restaurant pages on the WDW website. Be sure to play around with this a bit before you go to make your reservations to get a feel for how the system works.

    Enjoy your trip to WDW!
