Just found out pregnant and trip planned in 09/11 at that time I will be 8 months pregnant..Wanted to know if I will be restricted from all rides??

    Hi Carol -

    Congratulations on the big news!

I think most of the Moms Panelist - at least the female ones ;-) - have visited Walt Disney World while pregnant. I visited the parks when I was five months pregnant with my twins and was already quite large. As with any travel while pregnant, you should consult with your doctor before making the trip.

There are a few rides at each park that do have posted health and safety warnings for pregnant women. These are primarily the roller coasters and thrill rides. However, the majority of the rides and shows are open to anyone regardless of physical condition. For example, in the Magic Kingdom you'll be able to experience the Jungle Cruise, Small World, Peter Pan, Mickey's Philharmagic, Monster's Inc Laugh Floor, Carousel of Progress, Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, Dumbo, Aladdin's Magic Carpets, and many others. The circumstances are similar at each of the other parks.

Make sure you rest and keep hydrated during you visit. September can be quite hot in Orlando. Don't hesitate to stop by the first aid station if you assistance. I also suggest that you make note of the in-park baby care centers - expectant mothers are welcome to rest there in the air conditioning they need a break.

    Good luck!
