Hi. I've just found this panel and I simply love it!! I'll go to WDW next winter, from Dec. 31st to Jan. 8th. Will it be very crowded? Is it a rainy season? Will I need heavy coats? Should I go to Water paks? I'm travelling with my husb., and 2 kids, 2+8

    Hi Ana,

I love that you love this panel! As for your question, you will see the biggest crowds from December 31 through that Sunday. This is when all of the US is on vacation, and people will be in Disney World for vacation. However, from Sunday on you should see lighter crowds as people are returning back to work and school.

It is not the rainy season in Florida. Though the temperature will fluctuate, most years a heavy coat is not necessary, however, check with a weather website prior to traveling north.

The temperature of the water parks water and all Disney World pools is 82 degrees. Though I never go in the pool unless it is about 90, you may want to spend the day at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Check their schedule as your trip gets closer.

Have a great trip and keep sending us questions!
