Welcome back, Bridget! My family and I are so excited for our
adventure at sea with Disney Cruise Line to Alaska next summer, so I can only imagine how thrilled your family must be to look forward to that same trip! Sailing with Disney is always amazing, but the Alaskan cruise is one of the most magical of all, with so many unique activities both on the ship and in the ports of call.
The Junior Ranger Program is no longer offered onboard the Wonder in Alaska, but I'm happy to tell you that there are some wonderful guest presenters and naturalists onboard throughout the sailing. They offer fabulous programs for everyone onboard, including some special activities for kids in the Youth Clubs. I promise that this cruise to Alaska will not only be a vacation for your kiddos, but one amazing hands-on educational adventure! My children have received such great life experiences and educational opportunities each time they sail with Disney Cruise Line, onboard through the great youth programs, and in the ports of call. It's better than anything you can get in a textbook! Be sure to check out your Personal Navigator onboard each day, or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, to find out when these programs will be taking place on your specific sailing.
This past summer, some of the fun educational topics for kids in the Youth Clubs presented by the guest naturalists included:
All About Polar Bears
Glaciers, Volcanos, and Earthquakes, Oh My!
Alaskan Tribes: Language, Totems, Tattoos, and Trade
Rivers of Ice
And many more!
While these may not be the exact offerings on your sailing next year, I hope that at least gives you an idea of what to expect. Have fun as you continue to plan your adventure up north with Disney Cruise Line, Bridget!
