Aloha Jessica!
Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! I absolutely adore '
Ohana and this is a "must dine" experience each time I visit. I love the salad, which has a delicious citrus vinaigrette dressing. My kids crave the pork dumplings and noodles!
My family has dined here often in hopes of catching the
Disney Enchantment fireworks show at
Magic Kingdom. The restaurant has huge windows facing Cinderella Castle and they even pipe in the music to the show! If your
advanced dining reservation is for 8:40 p.m. you have a great chance at catching the fireworks show at 9:00 p.m. You can check in at the podium up to 15 minutes prior to your reservation time. However, from my experience, you will be seated at or a little after your reservation time. But the timing of your reservation is perfect for catching the viewing because you will be checked in, seated, and will already have your drinks and possibly your first course.
Another great thing about 'Ohana is that the waiting area is located right next to a giant window that offers a beautiful view of Disney Enchantment. If you happen to not yet be seated at 9, you can view the show from this area as well.
If you are staying at
Disney's Polynesian Resort make sure to check out their amazing
pool and
movies under the stars.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
