If we get to Fort Wilderness before checkin, can I take the kids swimming? Do we need to bring towels? Thanks

Welcome to planDisney, Kathryn! You are going to have the best time at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort later this month! Thanks for sending us your planning question.

You can definitely enjoy the swimming pools at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds before your check-in time. You will need to bring some towels, since you won't have access to your cabin before you check-in. Towels are not provided for guests at the pool area.

The pools at this special resort are so much fun! My girls absolutely love the water slide at the Meadow Swimmin' Pool! They also had the very best time playing games with the other kids and the Cast Members at the pool during our last stay. They even brought home prizes!

During your upcoming visit I highly suggest ending the day with a view of the Electrical Water Pageant at the Fort Wilderness dock. You can see the twinkling lights every night at around 9 p.m.

Kathryn, please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more questions before your visit. It's always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next vacation!
