    We are going to Fort Wilderness Campground in August. Do I need to purchase Magic bands or do they come with our resort reservations? We have paid in full already. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Hollie and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m excited to hear about your family’s upcoming summer trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are my family’s favorite place to stay when we visit! I’m happy to report that guests who stay at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort get to enjoy all the benefits of being Disney Resort hotel guests, which include complimentary MagicBands!

    You can request MagicBands for everyone in your party in advance by logging-in to your My Disney Experience account, clicking on “My Plans” then “My Reservations” and you will see a tab that says “Choose MagicBands.” Go to “Your Orders” and click “Get Started.” You will be able to choose a color and have a name printed inside of every MagicBand for each member of your party. 

    Hollie, one of the things my family enjoys most about staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness property, is riding around in our golf cart! We bring our own, but you can always rent one there. It’s our favorite way to get around and you can park it at the marina when you board the boat for the Magic Kingdom Park!
