At Fort Wilderness Cabins, it shows 6 may stay...Would a child under 3 count as one of the 6?

Hi, Marilyn!  If a child is two or younger (so UNDER the age of three), that child does not count towards the room capacity at a Walt Disney World resort.  This does include the Fort Wilderness Cabins.  Once a child reaches their third birthday, however, they do count towards room maximums.

Children under the age of three also do not need theme park passes, and they can enjoy the buffet meals for no additional charge as well.

I hope your family enjoys Fort Wilderness!  It is a favorite location for a few of the moms on the Moms Panel, and there are lots of great activities for your family there when you are not off enjoying the theme parks.

    Have a great vacation!
