Howdy, partner!
I am so glad that you circled your wagon back to planDisney, Hallie! Soon you will be traveling over the river and through the woods to Mickey Mouse's house. All of your careful planning is sure to lead to an epic vacation for you and your family!
At the moment, some
resort activities, like the popular golf cart parades at
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, have been suspended. As things may change during the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort, I would encourage you to check in with the Cast Members when you arrive to get the most up to date schedule of all the activities taking place during your visit.
You are still welcome to
rent golf carts to mosey around the resort and can decorate them however you would like! Not only is this a great way to identify your golf cart, but also brings some smiles to your fellow Guests during your visit. When my son and I stayed here last summer, we were in awe of the creativity and pixie dust that went into golf cart décor. Our favorite was one that was transformed into Mr. Ray from Finding Nemo!
There are a few things to keep in mind as you decorate your wagon. You cannot do anything that permanently alters the cart such as drilling holes or painting. Any lights or items that need to be powered cannot be connected to the golf cart's battery. Finally, if you use tape or stick anything to the cart, you must remove any residue before returning it. Zip ties are a great alternative to prevent damage!
Have fun dreaming up ideas for your golf cart. Visit us again at planDisney if you have any additional questions before you hitch up the wagons and head toward the magic!
So long, Hallie! Angie
