Welcome back, Cailyn! In reading your previous questions, I remember that you'll be setting sail out of San Diego next year on the
Disney Wonder for a magical five-night cruise vacation along the Baja Peninsula! I'm (not so patiently!) counting the days until I set sail there this fall too!
While nothing is quite set for next year yet, I can tell you that this year,
Pirate Night has been on the second night of that sailing, so be sure you use this coming year to plan your swashbuckling attire! Since you have awhile until you set sail, you might even be able to take advantage of the after Halloween sales on pirate costumes and gear later this year to save for your cruise next year! We've picked up some great deals on pirate attire after Halloween that we wear onboard the ships!
Your five-night cruise will not have a Formal Night, as those are on longer sailings, but you can expect an
Optional Dress-Up Night, which has fallen on the third night onboard that itinerary this year, the day at sea, between Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas. It's a wonderful night to bring out the dressiest clothes you've packed and get some fabulous photos! However, if you are not into dressing up and would prefer to keep the entire cruise casual, then that's totally fine too! That's why they call it an Optional Dress-Up Night!
Just keep in mind that since you don't sail until next year, some of these days may change, but hopefully this gives you a good idea of what to expect, based on this year's similar sailings.
Happy planning, Cailyn!
