Welcome aboard, Jennifer!
You must be looking forward to what is sure to be one very magical adventure on the high seas with
Disney Cruise Line! I'm really excited for you to experience all that is offered, because Disney truly offers
something for everyone on their ships!
You didn't mention which ship or itinerary you'll be enjoying, but if you're on a longer sailing that does include a Formal Night, you husband will fit right in with a dress shirt and slacks. Some men will go more formal with a jacket, while others won't, so let him know that he'll enjoy the night either way. Not all sailings include a Formal Night. The three and four night cruises have three cruise casual nights and one Optional Dress-Up Night. The longer sailings, like the seven-night cruises, include five cruise casual nights, one Formal Night and one Semi-Formal night. You can read a bit more about the
attire suggestions on the Disney Cruise Line website.
If you have reservations at one of the two Adult Exclusive Restaurants onboard,
Palo or
Remy, please be sure to read more about their dress codes, which do require specific attire in order to dine there. My husband and I highly recommend dining at both of these spots, or at least one, if you can! The Palo brunch is our favorite!
I hope that helps as you continue counting down for your big cruise vacation! Please stop by and visit us again if you have any other questions. We're happy to help!
