For the formal dinner night on a 4 day cruise, are black shorts and a colored short ok? My boys will not wear anything but sport shorts and I was hoping a black pair of shorts and colored shirt would be ok.

    Ahoy, Missy!
Your sons sound a lot like mine! He loves his comfortable athletic shorts and dri-fit shirts. When we cruise I can usually convince him to put on some khaki shorts for dinner, but he is ready to change as soon as it's over! On your four-night Bahamian sailing, you'll have an optional dress up night scheduled. A black pair of shorts and colored shirt will work for them to wear to dinner that night. I know you want them to enjoy the experience, so it sounds like this is a good compromise. The rotational dining aboard Disney Cruise Line is fabulous because all the restaurants tell their own story with no detail untouched. Hopefully your boys will be enjoying the atmosphere, interacting with the dining servers and eating the delicious food and won't remember what they are wearing! Dinner aboard Disney Cruise Line is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience!
Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Missy! Have a magical time on the Disney Dream!
