    What form of proof of 100% service connected disability is required to but military salute tickets? My husband is not retired military.

    Hi Christine, and welcome back to planDisney!

    From all of us at planDisney, thank you for your husband's service! If your husband has a DD 1173 or 2765 ID card (given to Veterans with 100% disability through the DoD), he can purchase Disney Military Salute tickets through your nearest military base, or Shades of Green Resort. If he has 100% service-connected disability benefits through the VA, he can purchase discounted Magic Your Way tickets from the same two places. He would have to have a VHIC card as proof of disability status. 

    Both ticket types require Theme Park reservations, but unlike the Salute tickets, Magic Your Way tickets do not need to be activated when you arrive. Once you purchase your tickets, upload them using the Disney Reservation # on your receipt to your My Disney Experience mobile app. Once they are uploaded, reservations can be made. If you have Salute tickets, visit Guest Relations at the theme parks or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to activate them. If you qualify for Salute tickets, be sure to ask the Cast Member assisting you about the military rate for Memory Maker!
