I know how easy it can be to forget to include a little Mouseketeer when making a dining reservation, especially when there are so many magical details to keep track of! Let’s take a look and see how we can ensure all members of your party are accounted for.
While Disneyland asks Guests to include everyone in their party, including infants, on their
dining reservations, I’d definitely recommend letting a Cast Member know about your baby when you arrive. Often times, they ask that you include infants as well due to seeing if a highchair may be needed. If they’ll be seated in your lap, it shouldn’t be a problem. Since you’re no longer seeing availability to modify your reservation, I wouldn’t cancel the reservation you already have. Instead, keep your existing reservation and arrive a little early so you have time to explain the situation to the Cast Member at check-in. They’ll be able to see what can be accommodated based on the restaurant’s available space and your party’s needs.
In the meantime, I’d keep an eye on the
Disneyland app to see if another reservation becomes available. Plans can change, and Guests sometimes need to modify or cancel their dining reservations, so you never know when a little bit of availability might pop up! Even if nothing becomes available, your best bet is still to keep your original reservation and speak with the Cast Member when you arrive.
