Welcome to planDisney, Rose! Thanks for bringing us your question.
How very exciting that you are preparing for a visit to
The Happiest Place on Earth with a little Mouseketeer! From meeting characters to world-class entertainment, there is so much for Guests of all ages to explore. My kids' favorite activity when they were toddlers was visiting
Mickey's Toontown, where Guests can meet Mickey and Minnie at their houses, and have some silly fun in
Goofy's How-to-Play Yard. Toontown also has one of my favorite attractions that is suitable for friends of all ages -
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway.
Rose, you are correct - kids under the age of three are Mickey's special guests and do not require a
theme park admission ticket at the Disneyland Resort. All other Guests aged three and older require a valid theme park admission and park reservation to enter the Disneyland theme parks. I do want to mention that, if making an advanced dining reservation, you will want to include all guests - regardless of age - in the headcount. This is so the restaurant can ensure you have a table suitable for your group!
I hope this answers your question, Rose. Should you have any other quetions,
please let me know. I'd be happy to help!
See you in the parks,
Melissa
