Are foreign coins acceptable in EPCOT World Showcase?

    Hi Erin,

What I think you wondering is if the currency of the represented country is accepted as payment in the World Showcase countries of Epcot. The answer to that is, unfortunately, no. Only US currency (paper and coins) are accepted at Walt Disney World, including at the World Showcase. Guest may pay with cash, credit cards, debit cards, room charge, and travelers checks, but not with non-US tender.

However, on the flip side of this topic, Disney does sell a small packet of foreign coins in some of the shops at Epcot as a souvenir. So you can buy non-US coins at Epcot, but you can't spend them.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
