Hi Kimberly,
I also love a good EPCOT festival and am always hopeful that there is one going on when I am visiting. Unfortunately, when a festival is not actively going on, there are no extra booths open throughout the theme park. Since you are a foodie like me, I highly recommend taking that Food and Wine Festival budget and using this as an opportunity to check out one of the other fabulous culinary experiences at Disney World.
There is a whole collection of
Enchanting Extras to pick from, many of which center around food! At Disney's Animal Kingdom, you can experience the
Savor the Savanna tour which is a culinary experience focused on African-inspired food and drinks, and a private savanna tour. My sister did this recently and raved about getting to try new food and drinks with a killer view. There is also a
Sangria University at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and a
La Cava Experience at EPCOT where you get to sample drinks from a master and then learn how to make them yourself!
Another thing you can look forward to at EPCOT when there isn't a festival going on is that you will have more room in your stomach and schedule for sit-down dining experiences!
Le Cellier is a decadent experience in the Canadian Pavilion that features a drink and wine list to rival the festival booths and delicious steaks, poutines, and desserts. I also recently dined at
Chefs de France and enjoyed their delicious Prix Fixe Meal which includes an appetizer, entree, dessert, and even a glass of wine!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
