Erica from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Is food and water bottles allowed into the park?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Erica!

Can you believe that you will be at the Disneyland Resort in just a few days? I am so excited for you! During your visit, I highly recommend watching the "Magic Happens" Parade at Disneyland Park. This is my favorite parade--don't miss it! Check the Disneyland App for showtimes. If visiting both Theme Parks, you must also check out the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival for delicious food and drink offerings.

Speaking of dining, you are welcome to bring outside food and water into the Theme Parks. However, there are a few guidelines to keep in mind. You may not bring glass containers (except for baby food containers) or alcoholic beverages. The food you bring in must also not require heating, reheating, processing, or refrigeration. Moreover, it must not have pungent odors. For more information, please visit the Disneyland Resort Rules webpage.

The parks have areas both inside and outside that are ideal for enjoying the food you brought with you. There is a Picnic Area located at the left of the main gates of Disneyland Park. Inside Disneyland Park, there are picnic tables located at Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island near the restrooms.

I hope this answers your question, Erica. I wish you the happiest visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!

    Your Pal,
    Alejandra
