Hi there, Barbara. Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney!
Disney Gift Cards are so useful! I love giving them as gifts, especially when I can grab some at a discounted price. I find that they are also great for kids and teens to help them keep to a spending budget while we're on our Disney vacation. Not only can they be used for Mickey-shaped treats, but they are also good for that souvenir that they just can't live without!
Barbara, I love that you want to use Disney Gift Cards to pay for your
Disneyland Resort Theme Park Tickets. There are a couple of important bits of information that you need to know before you make an online ticket purchase with Disney Gift Cards. First, you should combine the balance of all your gift cards into one card. You can do this by clicking on the "My Cards" section of the
Disney Gift Card website and entering each card individually. Note that, currently, the total balance on one Disney Gift Card cannot exceed $1000. Second, only one payment method may be used per ticket transaction. So you may need to complete several transactions if the total cost for the tickets is greater than the amount on your gift card.
Alternatively, if you live near the
Disneyland Resort, you can go to the Disneyland Ticket Booth to have a Cast Member help you complete your ticket purchase. Even in this case, though, I recommend combining your Disney Gift Cards online before you go.
One last suggestion before I sign off, Barbara. Make sure to check out the
Disney Parks Blog before your trip. It's filled with great information about all Disney Destinations, including the
Disneyland Resort. It's got great information on upcoming events, foodie guides, and more. It's worth a look!
I hope this answers your question, Barbara. Please be sure to stop back by and
ask me any other questions as you continue planning your trip!
