Can you take food from the ship when going on shore excursions? We are looking at some beach shore excurisons and might like a snack before we re-board. Like a banana, yogurt or bagel? I know you can't take any food off the ship when the cruise returns

    Welcome back, Kathleen!

Disney Cruise Line does not allow guests to take food off the ship at ports due to customs regulations. However, if you have something prepackaged and unopened, like a box with individually wrapped granola bars or other prepackaged snacks, you can certainly throw a couple of those into your bag to take with you. You might also consider bringing a bottle of water with you too.

Before you book your Port Adventure, read up on the details about that exact excursion. Some of the beach adventures include lunch, or a drink or snack. Others will note if there is food available for purchase in the area, which is usually the case at most beaches. We like to try the local food on our Port Adventures, as we usually find something delicious that we would never have had otherwise!

I hope that helps as you continue planning Kathleen! Let me know if you have other questions before you set sail!
