Hi Willie,
I'm so glad you sailed by planDisney with your great question! We love to chat about all things related to food when it comes to Disney Cruise Line vacations.
I think it might be easier to talk about what food is NOT included on a Disney cruise since much of the food offerings are included. You can expect to pay extra for the adult-exclusive dining options, such as
Palo, and for specialty beverages such as cocktails, beer and wine at the lounges, restaurants and bars while onboard. While most menu items on the
Room Service menu are complimentary, there are some selections that are available at an additional cost. If you order food in one of the bars or lounges, those items are not included in your cruise fare. Snacks in shops such as
Vanellope's Sweets & Treats and locations like
Preludes are not included.
So,
what's included? All your
Rotational Dining and all-you-care-to-eat meals including soft drinks, coffee and tea.
Soft Serve Ice Cream, snacks, and other food offerings on the pool deck are also included. Much of the Room Service menu is also complimentary. If your ship makes a stop at
Disney Castaway Cay or
Disney Lighthouse Cay at Lookout Point, your meals, soft drinks, and soft-serve ice cream there are included, too. I can attest to the fact that you can disembark a Disney cruise ship without paying extra for food! Of course, that leaves you more money for souvenirs, which I am a sucker for so don't ask me for advice on saving there!
There is so much to enjoy aboard a Disney Cruise Line vacation you will eat to your heart's content! Let us know if you would like more tips on making the most of it!
Wishing you many magical meals and memories,
Shannon
