What can we take food into Disneyland?

Hey there, Sarina. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with this question that I'm delighted to help with.

I like your style, Sarina. Eats, treats and all the stuff in between are definitely a priority when I'm visiting the Disneyland Resort. You can absolutely bring in your own food and snacks for your visit as long as they are not in glass containers, do not require heating, reheating, processing or refrigeration and do not have pungent odors. Make sure to look at the list of items not permitted in the parks to have a smooth experience through security. Some notable items that are not permitted include alcoholic beverages, glass containers and coolers larger than 6-pack sized. Stick to these rules and inform a Security Cast Member of any food items and you should be on your way to be cleared for takeoff.

Speaking of being cleared for takeoff, I know I'll be heading over to ride Soarin' Over California while it's available for a limited time. I'm also looking forward to eating my way through the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. I love the smaller portions that allow me to try even more of a variety of things from the Festival Marketplaces. Check out the handy guide to all the fun in Disneyland app.

Sarina, I hope this is helpful for your visit. It's going to be a beautiful day at the Happiest Place on Earth and I hope you have a magical day!
