Food...again!! If we want to walk into HS at 9am (no EMH) do we have time for a 8am bfast at 1900 Park Fare or should we eat at Hollywod & Vine? Was told to skip H&V for dinner, but do you know anything about bfast? Any other "good" bf

Hi again Mary! If you want to be in Hollywood Studios at 9 a.m. when it opens (which is a good idea so you can be sure to ride Toy Story Mania before the line gets too long!), I don't think you'd have time to have an 8 a.m. breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, especially if you're relying on Disney transportation.  If you ate at Hollywood & Vine instead, you'd be able to have a more leisurely breakfast. My kids think they're too old for the Playhouse Disney characters at Hollywood & Vine, so unfortunately I haven't tried breakfast there. The reviews I've seen have been favorable though -- it is generally uncrowded, allowing for lots of interaction with the characters and attention from the servers. Many people comment that the breakfast buffet at Hollywood & Vine is good, but my fellow Moms Panel member Bernie told me he felt that because the restaurant is often uncrowded, the food on the buffet doesn't turn over as frequently as it does at a busier buffet like Chef Mickey's, thereby somewhat reducing the food quality in his opinion. However, based on the reviews I've seen, I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try, especially if your children would enjoy the Playhouse Disney characters. If you want to try a different restaurant, Chef Mickey's buffet opens at 7 a.m., which would give you more time to eat and be at the park by 9 a.m. Boma also has a delicious breakfast buffet which opens at 7:30 a.m.

Hope this helps, Mary! Come visit me on the Moms Panel again -- I always enjoy talking food with you!
