Following your advice and asking multiple single ?s. Hope you answer. Have read that you have stayed at the AKL. Do you know the daily activities for children at AKL? Didn't know if a morning (until 2 p.m.) would be enough time to enjoy these activities

Asking many small questions of the Panel is a great way to get more detailed answers to your questions!

I have stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's a wonderful resort. The supplemental activities for resort guests vary daily and monthly. Some of the things you might encounter include art projects for kids, pool games, Disney trivia games, movies, etc. Since the activities are so variable, your best bet would be to call the Animal Kingdom Lodge directly at 407-938-3000. They will be able to tell you exactly what's going on during the time of your visit.

However, in general I will tell you that the vast majority of the resort-specific activities (particularly those for children) take place in the afternoon or evening, not the morning. Disney assumes that guests will be touring the theme parks in the morning and will be more likely to be at the resort in afternoon, enjoying the pool, etc. If you want to spend some dedicated time at the AKL enjoying activities, I would suggest that you reserve an afternoon for this.
