Hello Kirsty, and welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! Your Walt Disney World Resort holiday will be here before you know it! I'll be happy to try to help you troubleshoot so you'll be all set and ready to enjoy the magic of the
50th Anniversary Celebration. It is a little tricky for me to assist you through this forum, as I have no way of knowing how you have your
My Disney Experience account set up, so I'll start with some general information.
It sounds like you and your husband each have your own My Disney Experience accounts. Once tickets have been linked to a My Disney Experience account, they cannot be re-linked to another account. If you have linked the tickets to your account, you will be able to assign them to anyone on your
Family & Friends List. If you have assigned a ticket to your husband, then he should be good to go and will be able to view his ticket under "Tickets and Passes" when signed in to his My Disney Experience account on his phone. If your husband is not currently listed in your Family & Friends, you will be able to connect with him by scrolling to the bottom of your Family & Friends List in the My Disney Experience app, and selecting "Add a Guest". The easiest way to connect is to scan his linking code. Your husband will find his linking code by using the menu button in the lower right corner to scroll to "My Profile" and then "Show My Linking Code".
Once your tickets have been linked to the correct profiles, each Guest may use a ticket card, MagicBand, or
Disney MagicMobile pass to scan their admission for entry into the theme parks.
I interpreted your question to mean you were having difficulty with linking your tickets. If instead you meant you were having trouble sharing Disney MagicMobile passes with your husband, I have a few ideas for you. If you have created a Disney MagicMobile pass for your husband and saved it to your digital wallet, you may be able to share it with him. This feature only works through Apple iMessage, and the recipient must also have an iPhone and be added to your address book or contacts. Be sure you are using the latest iOS. If your husband has his own My Disney Experience account, he should create his own Disney MagicMobile pass on his device. If not, I was able to set up a Disney MagicMobile pass for my daughter by signing in to my account on her phone. I just recruited my husband to test out saving my Disney MagicMobile pass to his phone. He does not have his own account, so he signed in to mine. He could see my pass, but needed to click the blue plus button at the top to choose my pass and save it to his digital wallet.
Kirsty, if I misunderstood your question, please free free to write back and provide additional details, or try giving the
My Disney Experience tech team a call in the UK at 0800 16 90 749.
Have a wonderful holiday!
