Happy Easter, Constance! Thanks for hopping back over to visit with us to get some more information.
Easter Mass, taking place at 8 AM at
Disney's Contemporary Resort in the Fantasia Ballroom, is a fairly informal occasion. You won't feel underdressed in your theme park clothes, as a lot of people are going to be leaving straight from Mass to head into the
theme parks. I've also seen people in sundresses and "dress" shorts (I hope you know which ones I mean - not the athletic type, but the ones that look a little nicer). You may also encounter those people who look full on like they are starring in the Easter parade, but there's no judgment in that type of venue, so go however you feel most comfortable.
As for the length of the Mass, I'd say it's about the same as you might expect at home. They'll have extra Eucharistic Ministers to help with Communion, so even though it may be more crowded than your regular parish's Easter Mass, things move right along. I'd give yourself about an hour, give or take a few minutes.
As I know you learned in your last message, there are a lot of Easter activities at Walt Disney World. Check with the front desk at your resort hotel to see what special events may be taking place there on Easter Sunday. You can also hippity-hop yourself over to the monorail and head to
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. They have gorgeous chocolate eggs on display, and there's an adorable little cottage kind of kiosk selling Easter treats. Yum!
Have a blessed and happy Easter celebration!
Anna
