Hi, My folks and I are going to WDW between the 18th-22nd and I am a huge Percy Jackson fan, and seeing how it will premiere on Disney+ the same week, are any Percy Jackson events or stands going on in the Parks

Great Poseidon's trident, Amy, and welcome to planDisney. My son read the Percy Jackson book series, so we are fans, too. And the new show on Disney+ looks fabulous, so let's see if we can discover any signs of our favorite demigod at Walt Disney World Resort.

I did some online searching and even chatted with a winged Cast Member, but there are currently no events or character greetings at the theme parks that relate to the Percy Jackson franchise. I know that's not the news you hoped for, but I have some tips.

Watch the Disney Park Blog for updates as the series premiere gets closer. This is where the latest announcements typically drop first. I also follow Disney Parks on Instagram for news about theme park offerings.

Once at the theme parks, you can search for characters in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Tap the pin icon at the bottom of your screen and then choose "Characters" from the dropdown menu above the map. I like to choose "Show List" to see an alphabetic list of where to see characters that day. Characters are constantly changing, so it's worth a try.

In the meantime, I did find a nice assortment of Percy Jackson books on shopDisney. If you need to add to your collection, you might find the books at the Emporium at Magic Kingdom Park or World of Disney at Disney Springs.

Amy, I'm sending pixie dust and lightning bolts so you'll have a visit fit for the gods! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
