Hello folks...if we purchase the quick-service meal plan, but would like to eat at one of the table service or character meals, could we pay the difference for that meal? Or would we have to pay full price out of pocket for the entire meal? Thank you.

Hi, Lori! In this scenario, you would have to fully purchase the Table-service meal out-of-pocket. There is no way to convert Quick-service entitlements to partially pay for a meal.  There is only one exchange that can be made on any of the Disney Dining Plans. Guests may redeem one Table-service entitlement for one Quick-service meal. The opposite is NOT true. Using a Table-service credit for a Quick-service meal is not the best financial choice because the Table-service credits are worth more, but it is a good option for those not wanting to be tied down to Advance Dining Reservations everyday or who cannot get Table-service meals reserved. This exchange can be made as many times as necessary during your trip. Simply tell the Cast Member taking your order that you would like to redeem Table-service entitlements for the Quick-Service meals you are ordering. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
