Can we use a foldable stool/ pop up stool that can fit in a backpack? also is there any dog friendly resorts tht have rooms for 7+ ?

Hi there, Tristia! Thanks for bringing your great question to planDisney.

It sounds like you're getting all of your Donald Ducks in a row before your next trip to Walt Disney World Resort. I couldn't be more excited for you! From which snacks to try to the perfect viewing spot for Happily Ever After to prioritizing rest breaks in your day, we're here to help with every part of your planning. No matter where you go or what you do, you're sure to find magic around every corner!

Tristia, with all the walking that naturally occurs when touring Walt Disney World Resort, I completely understand the desire to bring a foldable stool with you into the parks! However, the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules states that folding chairs (including folding and pop-up stools) aren't allowed in the parks. But Hakuna Matata! No worries! I have a few ideas that will help you to have a perfect break from the heat of the day.
    • If you're looking for a place to relax midday, consider packing a camp blanket! Some blankets have weighted edges, which make sitting in the grassy "hub" in front of Cinderella Castle (towards the end of Main Street, U.S.A.) a breeze when you need to give your legs a rest.
    • There's plenty of bench seating at various locations throughout all four of the parks! Grab an iced coffee, lemonade, or other cold drink and spend a few minutes relaxing and taking in the atmosphere.
    • Make an advance dining reservation during the hottest part of the day! This is a great way to get some shade, sit in the air conditioning, and enjoy a delicious meal before heading out for your next adventure.
It also sounds like you're looking for dog-friendly resorts that can accommodate a large group! Like Mickey and Pluto, a dog is a man's (or mouse's!) best friend and I can absolutely understand wanting to make sure that he doesn't miss a minute of the magic. Currently, dog-friendly resorts are Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Though these resorts aren't able to accommodate 7+ Guests, you are welcome to book two rooms at any of these resorts and request nearby or connecting rooms! This way, the Guests in your travel party can experience the parks at their own pace. Some may choose to nap while others enjoy the pool, and some might want to stay up late while others are looking to get their Sleeping Beauty rest. Also, each room will have its own bathroom, making getting ready in the morning and winding down at night so much easier!

I hope I was able to help you today, Tristia! If you have any more questions, please write to us again. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
