My fmaily and I are coming to WDW in September and I have a 2 year old and am trying to decide between AK and GF to stay at. Any suggestions

Well, Shanin, that is certainly a win-win decision to make. If you are planning at spending most of your theme park time at the Magic Kingdom, then I strongly recommend the Grand Floridian. It's a monorail hotel, so getting to the Magic Kingdom is a super quick ride. You would also be a quick monorail ride to Epcot. If your two year old is crazy about animals, then you might want to consider the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Otherwise, I don't think you can beat the convenience of the Grand Floridian.

Have a magical vacation wherever you stay!
