Hi. We will be flying to Orlando and staying at Fort Wilderness Cabins. We do have small children and will need some groceries. Does the resort have a decent selection of grocery items or should I order from garden grocer? What is the delivery fee?

    Hi Carrie,

The general store at Fort Wilderness has the basics such as milk, eggs, cereal and some prepared foods. There are also drinks and snacks as well. Think of the store as a convenience for last minute items or purchasing perishables for your trip. While some prices are reasonable others can set you back a a few Disney dollars.

However, if you children are particular about certain foods, you may want to consider ordering from the Garden Grocer. The Garden Grocer will allow you to select from a variety of products and have them waiting for you at your resort. There is a $40 minimum and the fee is $12. You should place your order at least 36 hours in advance and even longer during the busy season.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
