We are flying into Orlando extremely early on our arrival day. The plan is to visit a water park on that day. What will we need to pack in our carry on (besides a bathing suit) for the water park? Will a towel be provided at the park?

Hello there, Tuesday! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and ask your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

Regardless of the time of year, Central Florida's balmy weather makes visiting the Water Parks at Walt Disney World Resort a fantastically fun time! In fact, my family and I will often plan to visit one of the water parks on property on our day of arrival as well! This is a great idea for early morning arrivals since both water parks tend to open later in the morning so you don't feel quite as rushed to make it there as soon as they open.

My "day trip bag" to the water parks always includes sunscreen, goggles, flip flops or water shoes, and our MagicBands. Including your MagicBands is particularly important if you plan on purchasing your admission prior to your arrival! Beyond these items, any additional things are up to personal preference. Towels are available for rent inside both water parks and are complimentary for any Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels.

Be sure to check the hours of operation for both Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park before your arrival! Typically, one of the two water parks is closed during the "off-season" so you may need to factor this into your plans.

Hopefully, this information will assist you as you continue to plan for your family's vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
