Flying to Orlando day before cruise, staying at Hyatt, taking DCL ground transfer. Can we put luggage tags before flight & bags go right to ground transfer/ship? We will pack carry-on's with all we need before.

Welcome aboard, Michelle! It's a great idea to fly in the day before you set sail with Disney Cruise Line! My family and I always do this to ensure that even in the event of a flight delay or cancellation, we won't miss the boat!

The Hyatt Regency at the Orlando International Airport partners with Disney Cruise Line to take your bags right from the hotel to the ship on embarkation morning if you've booked Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transfers. Since you are flying in the day before, you will not want to put your Disney Cruise Line tags onto the luggage before your flight. As you get off the flight, gather your luggage at baggage claim and head upstairs to check into the Hyatt. Once there, you can attach your DCL tags for pick up the next morning. Let the folks at the Hyatt's check-in know that you're sailing with Disney and you'd like them to take your bags the next morning. They'll arrange to pick those up and have them sent directly to the ship. Then, all you'll need are your day bags to keep with you. When you're ready to head to the ship, head down to the Disney Cruise Line transfers in the airport and you'll be whisked away to the port. Before you know it, you'll be boarding the ship and your luggage will magically appear in your stateroom later that afternoon. It couldn't be easier, Michelle!

    Have a magical cruise!
