We are flying into Orlando airport and will have a rental car. How long will it take us to arrive at Walt Disney World? We are staying at the Caribbean Resort.

    Hello Stephen!

Welcome back to planDisney! How exciting that you will be visiting the other coast and the Walt Disney World Resort this time. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a great choice. They have a fantastic pool area, and with the Disney Skyliner, you’ll be just a quick flight over the trees to arrive at either Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Epcot!

There are two airports in the Orlando area. If you’ll be arriving at the main airport, Orlando International Airport, once you’ve secured your rental car, you’ll find the drive to be approximately 30 minutes.  There is another, smaller executive airport north of the city called Orlando Sanford International Airport. This airport tends to serve several discount airlines and sometimes Guests will find lower prices to this location. From this airport, you’ll find the drive to be approximately 50 to 60 minutes.

I hope this helps with planning, Stephen, and that you’ll continue to send questions as your trip approaches!

    Have a Magical Day!
